A native Houstonian, Jonathan spent his early childhood in Venezuela before moving back home. After high school, he studied abroad for a year in Belgium in an intensive immersion program with the Rotary Youth Exchange and today, remains involved with Rotary International. This experience enhanced his analytical and problem-solving skills and broadened his awareness of alternate cultural and community perspectives, which are valuable traits in the design industry.
Jonathan’s love for design and architecture was always supported by his family, who encouraged him to pursue the field of his choice and make a difference in it. His international experiences broadened his perspective on the ways design and buildings can impact users’ daily lives while telling their stories.
His design style is self-described as ‘progressive with a retrospective eye’. Jonathan joined Page after earning his Bachelor of Science in Interior Design at Texas State University.
